it's my first time trying out sample beauty. i thought it would be one of those super pigmented palette, but it is not. the swatches took me a while to build them up to full opacity, some required 3/4 layers. that's totally ok too, some people prefer layering on eyeshadows, instead of straight pigment right way. the eyeshadows are a little watery/soft formula that a sticky base is preferred. however, you can definitely work with the shadows. they do take some time to build on the eyes. just some thoughts upon my first week of playing around with it. more tutorials to come. let me know if you guys are picking this one up in the comments! xo
